Job Professions

Normal

Start location: Default

All players will have some sort of user interface imitating a phone/tablet of some sort. You can access it at any time to start a food delivery job. Player should be able to choose if its a single delivery or a series of deliveries (jobchain/jobstack). 

You are given a random Food Place to go and pick up the orders from, which will give you a random amount (1-5, will be shown after you start the job) orders to deliver to random places on the map.

As irl, you aren't delivering 15 food orders at once, its always just a few

You would be paid a random X amount of money (or based on time it takes to deliver?) per job. If you cancel mid stack, you would be charged a random amount for the deliveries you didn't complete. After you complete the whole stack, you will be automatically (if you selected that option before starting) assigned a new, random Food Place to go and pick up the new orders. This would be the time you can cancel without being charged

Heavy Duty

Start location: Industrial area.

There will be various types of heavy duty types.

Heavy Cargo

0-200kg

0-50% restriction

. After player has finished loading the truck, x kg or x% restriction is added to the player live (without player having to do this manually)


If a player is using a fluid-truck, the delivery material is any fluid (water, gasoline, diesel)

If a player is using an open-truck, the delivery material is any compound (sand, gravel)

If a player is using a closed-truck, the delivery material are parcels/packages (items)


Fragile Cargo

Amount of damage to vehicle during the job affects the pay

On-time Delivery

Time affects the pay

Garbage Collection

Goes to several locations, has to wait X seconds at each place. This would be similiar to how a bus does its bus routes.

Fuel Delivery

Use a fluid truck to delivery x amount of litres to each gas station

Postal

Several locations, time affects the pay

or

has X minutes to do as many jobs as possible - paid per job

Each job would take X seconds to load/unload cargo.

Notes for later:

  • Players stops by the tollbooth/entrance and starts a job there.
    • Once accepted, the player will be directed to where to load the package(s)

Bus

Start location: Bus terminal

  • Each track has 1 bus terminal
  • Player start and end each bus route at the bus terminal
  • At the terminal a GUI could show:
    • Route selection
    • Session rewards for bus routes

Taxi

TowTruck

Definition
Towtrucks assist players when needed.

    • A player need to wear a tag infront of their nickname in order to go on-duty as a towtruck:  [TOW] .
    • TowTruck sub-ranks:
        ◦ TowTruck driver - this is the lowest towtruck role and the one new towtruck drivers start off with.
        ◦ Roadside Assistance Manager - With more tow experience, towtruck drivers can get promoted to this tow rank.
        ◦ Specialized Towing – This is the most experienced tow rank. It has a requirement of 100 towing hours (afk hours not included).

How it should work
    • When a player is stuck and calls for tow (via  !calltow ). All ON-DUTY towtrucks will get a notification that there’s an incoming call for road assistance. This request can be accepted with !accept/!respond. A  150€  fee for the towing job is automatically added. The player can specify an additional number for the job.
    • When accepted:
        ◦ Message to global chat saying that the tow is on the way.
    • On arrival:
        ◦ When the tow arrives, there are various ways to assist the player:
            ▪ Good old fashion way, by bumping into them in reverse
            ▪ Use layout objects to get to an area that is not accessible
